Villagers care about their environment

It seems Matt Partridge's ears are burning (Guardian, Thursday, February 1).

At last - acknowledgement. Yes, we are a small community and we are dedicated to our environment. It is where we have chosen to live and we don't need a Big Brother telling us we should have the largest turbines in the UK situated within a mile of our locality.

Perhaps he is so keen for us to have them because he doesn't want them near him.

I want to restate - we do care about our environment and fully understand the need for renewables.

Matt Partridge should listen to our voices, coming from our village, Glyncorrwg.
